We want to let you know that we arw very much independent filmmakers and although we have worked on my productions for years, we are still very new to the whole process. We are used to working with friends to create the films we have done to date.
This film is the first production that we have written that would require an “outside” cast. We knew the scenes we wanted to include, and thought the best way to ensure that the cast we hired were comfortable with the level we are envisioning was to audition in a more adult way.
We have come to realise that this is unacceptable and therefore want to wholeheartedly apologise. From this moment on, all auditions for any productions will be a face-to-face discussion (or via a video networking site) and a recital/reenactment of a scene from a movie or TV Show.
Please don’t let any naivety affect our potential working together, we would love nothing more than to discuss our ideas in full and explain how we envision every scene.
